CURRENTLY HIRING!

Fire Explorer Requirements

  • 14 - 20 years of age

  • Enrolled in school (high school or college) and maintain 2.0 cumulative grade point average

Step 2: Obtain a Letter of Recommendation from a teacher or community member

Step 4: Interview with 
Explorers Advisors

Step 5: Background Screening

Become a Fire Explorer!

After passing the previous steps, you will become a Fire Explorer for the Glendale Fire Department and begin the Explorer Academy.
